CONSTRUCTION OF DRAIN SYSTEM WITH CAPACITY OF 300 TM3 PER DAY IN TURKMENISTAN

In present time the object is in operation under warranty.

The drain system with capacity of 300 tm3 per day, which is currently under construction, is designed for cleaning the domestic runoffs, which are gathered in the drain tunnel and then transferred through dropping device to receiving chamber of the main drain pumping station. Then runoffs are transferred through pumping pipes to the cleaning station.

Complex construction of DKT and KOS-300 is a part of a program for city infrastructure development, drop-off environmental protection, environmental and sanitary improvement in the city. The proposed drain cleaning technology is modern waste-free production, because the cleaned and bacteria-free water is used for watering, and the dried sludge is used as a fertilizer.

To clean water, a biological, multi-chamber, anaerobic and aerobic method is used. Through the grills and sand-catchers wastewaters are cleaned from big and small garbage, then the water passes three special zones in air-tank: anaerobic, anoxic and aerobic, where fermentation processes take place. In a certain time the whole water mass gets into the biggest air-tank, to where the high-pressured air (about 0.5 atm.) is supplied with a capacity of 14,000 cub. m/hr. The air is supplied through aerators on the bottom of the air-tank with 0.5 mm bubbles which provide the finishing restructuring of organic compounds into non-organic with a help of bacteria. Then the whole mass is transferred to the secondary sump, defended and decontaminated. The bottom sludge of the secondary sump is transferred to anaerobic zone in air-tank. In average, water passes this way for 7 times. It should be mentioned that the whole cleaning system is a complicated technological process with back-feeds and is controlled by the technology control system, built on the basis of modern controllers and detectors. Decontaminated water and dry sludge are the outputs of the system. If an emergency situation takes place, slump is released to reserve areas.


 

The total square of the area is 75 ha. The technological cleaning process is supported with the following buildings and constructions at the site:

  1. Main wastewater pump station.
  2. Receiving chamber.
  3. Grillage building (two).
  4. Sand catchers (8 conveyors).
  5. Air-tanks (16).
  6. Secondary sumps (16).
  7. Pumping station for the secondary sumps draining (4).
  8. Sludge pump station (two).
  9. Air station (one building).
  10. Sludge-pressers (three).
  11. Aerobic stabilizers (4).
  12. Wastewater decontaminating unit (one).
  13. Sludge areas (16).
  14. Sand bunkers building (two).
  15. Water supply unit (one).

Besides the above mentioned technological buildings, there is an administrative block, garage for 10 cars, wheels washing and cars repair unit at the site.
