About the project

Novatorskaya Metro Station is a modern transport facility of the Moscow Metro on the Large Circle Line (LCL), located at the intersection of Leninsky Prospekt and Novatorov Street on the border of the Prospekt Vernadskogo and Obruchevsky districts. The station is designed as a shallow column two-span station with an island platform and two underground vestibules with exits to the street and surface transport. The architectural design of the station is distinguished by a bright “flaming” suspended ceiling made of colored glass panels.

Scope of works

  • Total tunnel length: 2.6 km
  • Internal tunnel diameter: 5.4 meters
  • Tunnel construction method: TBM
  • Installation of the permanent way superstructure: 3.0 km
  • Total built-up area: 22.5 thousand m2
  • Cast-in-place reinforced concrete of the station: 50 thousand m3
  • Installation of engineering systems: 37 systems
  • Total length of cable products: 580 km
  • 420 service and technical rooms at the station
  • Architectural and finishing works: granite, marble, aluminum panels
  • Commissioning works
