International Conference CIET 2025 in Turkmenistan

CIET 2025: CAI Interbudmontazh GmbH strengthens Turkmenistan’s water infrastructure — from the Karakum Canal to microtunnelling.
At the International Conference “Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan” (CIET 2025), Managing Director of CAI Interbudmontazh GmbH, Volodymyr Petruk, presented a portfolio of water management projects implemented by the Ukrainian contractor in Turkmenistan. Particular attention was paid to the modernization of water supply and wastewater infrastructure, including works on the strategically important Karakum Canal. Currently, CAI Interbudmontazh GmbH is constructing a regulating structure on the Karakum Canal, one of the world’s largest artificial waterways.
“At the same time, we are preparing a conceptual solution for the reconstruction of the Karakum Canal and the construction of hydraulic engineering facilities along it,” Volodymyr Petruk noted.

Digital water accounting in partnership with Rubicon (Australia).
In cooperation with the Australian company Rubicon, a global leader in water resource management, CAI Interbudmontazh GmbH is implementing automated systems for monitoring and accounting of water consumption. The technology enables:
– real-time monitoring of water inflow and outflow;
– optimization of water resource distribution;
– minimization of losses caused by filtration, evaporation, and other natural factors.

“This cooperation opens up new opportunities for Turkmenistan’s agricultural sector by ensuring reliable access to water resources,” the speaker emphasized.

Microtunnelling — the future of urban utilities.
The company proposes the implementation of microtunnelling technology for the construction of sewerage and engineering networks in the cities of Turkmenistan. This method provides:
– minimal disruption to the urban landscape;
– no road closures;
– enhanced environmental safety.

CAI Interbudmontazh GmbH has successful experience in constructing wastewater treatment facilities in Turkmenistan, including WTP-300 and WTP-50 plants. These facilities are an integral part of urban infrastructure and ensure:
– stable operation of municipal utility systems;
– a closed-loop system for wastewater treatment and reuse for urban and agricultural needs, enhancing environmental sustainability.

The company has confirmed its readiness to invest resources and expertise in the development of Turkmenistan’s water sector, contributing to improved quality of life and the sustainable development of urban infrastructure.
